The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) kicks off today at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.
MIFGS has long been one of BreastScreen Victoria’s most significant engagement events of the year. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with clients, our Consumer Network, and to promote breast screening in a beautiful and fun environment.
Due to the impact of the coronavirus, this is the first large-scale MIFGS event since 2019. BreastScreen Victoria is excited to attend and reconnect with the community. Our team members are available to answer questions about everything from eligibility to COVID-safe screening measures.
The flower and garden show is the largest horticultural event in the southern hemisphere. Over 100,000 visitors typically attend over the show’s five days to admire the elaborate floral displays, explore the landscaped gardens, and shop at the gallery precinct.
We invite visitors to stop by the BreastScreen Victoria stand and book a breast screen at their nearest clinic. You'll receive a goodie bag with items donated by our generous supporters. We are stall C33, located in the Royal Exhibition Centre’s Great Hall. You’ll find us tucked against the wall beside the toilets.
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show runs from 30 March to 3 April 2022.
