Radiographer/Mammographer G2-G3
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Radiographer/Mammographer, preferably holding a Certificate of Mammography Practice (CMP), to join MDHS and lead the implementation of a mammography service for our community in 2024. Applicants not currently holding a CMP but willing to undertake the training required will be considered and supported.

Selection Criteria:
Qualifications / Experience Experience in the general operation of a Medical Imaging Department Experience in mammography and radiography, preferably including CMP Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Excellent leadership, training and interpersonal skills Specialist Expertise Understanding of, and demonstrated commitment to improving patient experience. Ability to perform a wide range of Medical Imaging examinations, particularly mammography Ability to work well, as part of a team or independently Excellent ability in teaching and training Ability to accept responsibility and show leadership Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice Willing to liaise with Referring Practitioners and the community, particularly in regard to mammography Personal Qualities Sound interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to personal and professional development

Our department is equipped with state of the art Siemens GO-Top CT, Carestream DR, DEXA, US and is in the process of acquiring the mammography unit.
