  • Selection Criteria • Tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion, engagement, or related discipline.
    • Demonstrated well-developed level of general health promotion knowledge, expertise and skill with a focus on population screening.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop public health promotions and/or behaviour change interventions using relevant evidence base
    • Prior experience in applying IAP2 approaches in a real-world experience
    • Demonstrated ability to translate research and health promotion theory into strategic and operational interventions
    • Ability to navigate and utilise large data sets to inform innovative approaches to achieve BSV’s strategic objectives.
    • Prior leadership experience of a diverse and professional team required to achieve performance targets and deadlines.
    • Prior experience in delivering budgeted, deadline focussed projects aimed at creating solutions
    • Prior experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, actions and reporting on delivery for Boards and Executives as well as the community


  • Position Summary

    Does this sounds like you, we’re looking for a motivated and passionate Engagement Manager to join the BreastScreen Victoria team in Carlton on a full time, 14-month parental leave contract.

    We are looking for someone who has successfully delivered complex community engagement initiatives with diverse communities using multiple strategies and lead and managed a diverse and professional team.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join the BreastScreen Victoria team and to lead exciting initiatives to increase awareness and participation in the screening program.

    The work you will do, will contribute to reducing the impact of breast cancer and save lives through early detection.
