We are looking for a Post Doctoral Research Officer who will work with the Chief Investigator (CI), Project Lead and wider Project team on a project assessing Artificial Intelligence tools in the BreastScreen Victoria environment.

  • Position Summary:

    In this role, you will primarily work on one exciting and innovative project which aims to improve the breast screen image reading process, building future proof infrastructure for evaluation of three or more AI tools and conducts real-world clinical evaluation of AI models, assessing impacts on the overall reading process including quality, costs, and impact on clients.

     

    The role is full time for a maximum term of 12 months.

    To be successful in this role:

    • The candidate who has or is about to receive their PhD in a relevant discipline,
    • Demonstrated capacity for independent and team-based research in a population health setting,
    • Experience with Human Research and Ethics Committee submissions
    • Builds and maintains effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate activities.
