Consumer Representative allowance
If you’re a Consumer Representative appointed to a committee, advisory group or project board, you are eligible to receive an allowance to cover expenses for each meeting you attend (or other activities specifically related to your appointed role). A meeting will usually not exceed 2.5 hours with up to 2 hours preperation, and in some circumstances travel. The allowance is a predetermined amount to cover travel, food and incidentals incurred. The below allowance rates have been determined based on the recognition that travel costs vary based on location, and that many meetings are held online. Determine your location here.
