The Mother's Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. It was held virtually this year and we were there for it!
BreastScreen Victoria invited staff and ambassadors to take part in the virtual challenge, which required participants to complete their chosen 4km or 8km run/walk on or before Mother’s Day.
We came together virtually to walk and run to support and remember those touched by breast cancer. Our team had 16 participants - a mix of staff, a member of Board, and ambassadors.
The virtual Mother's Day Classic was a great way for staff to stay connected and keep active during isolation while raising money for an important cause.
