FIND OUT MORE

Breast kind of screen time

Did you know the average Australian spends 9.4 hours in front of screens daily? That’s compared to just 10 minutes for a breast screen!

If you’re due for your regular check, BreastScreen Victoria is encouraging you to get the breast kind of screen time by booking in for an appointment this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Your safety is our priority at your next visit. When you come and see us, you'll notice the safety measures we have in place to protect you, these include spaced-out appointments, staff in face coverings, health questions on arrival, hand sanitiser, physical distancing in our waiting areas, and thorough, regular cleaning.  Find out more about COVID-19 and our service.

Remember, we’re the right service for you if you have no breast symptoms. If you notice any unusual breast changes, please see your doctor immediately for a check. They can refer you for any further tests you might need.

We have screening appointments available throughout Victoria and look forward to welcoming you safely. Our breast screens are free, with a woman, and take just 10 minutes, so make sure you get the breast kind of screen time if you’re due for your regular check.
