Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will be an influential and strategic senior leader, providing oversight of quality, accreditation, clinical governance and risk management, and leadership of service delivery, workforce development, and the implementation of workforce strategies. The incumbent will develop and embed high-quality, standardised practice across sites, foster continuous improvement and innovation—including implementation of new models that adapt to changing consumer needs and technological advancements. Tertiary qualifications in a clinical care, health management, quality and / or business-related discipline will be essential, as will a demonstrated understanding of the public / private health system. Clinical qualifications and related experience will be highly desirable.

Position Summary:
BreastScreen Victoria (BSV) operates a population-based breast screening program that aims to reduce the impact of breast cancer and save lives through early detection. Working across a network of permanent and mobile screening clinics and assessment services, BSV provides high quality, inclusive and client focused care for the Victorian community.
BSV seeks a contemporary and values aligned executive to join the high-performing leadership team as Director, Quality and Clinical Care. This pivotal role is responsible for statewide quality management, clinical governance, and risk oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality care across all services. Reporting to the CEO, the Director will provide senior leadership across BSV’s direct service delivery sites, partner sites and BSV’s mobile vans, including the pilot Womens Health Van visiting rural and regional communities and the soon to come innovative Equity Van supporting priority populations.
A champion of equity of access, the incumbent will support initiatives to increase participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, multicultural communities and other priority groups. Additional stakeholders will include government, health services and other service delivery partners. Innovation and continuous improvement will be key to ensure the highest level of quality and standardised delivery across the state.
