Rural Imaging Australia Mobile Screening Service hits the road

A partnership with Mildura Base Public Hospital brings breast screening services on the Rural Imaging Australia's truck. Improving access to healthcare for rural and regional communities has reached an important milestone this month with the launch of the Rural Imaging Australia's screening truck, delivering free breast screening, skin cancer checks and heart health assessments.

Affectionately known as RIA, the truck will welcome its first breast screening clients at Robinvale Golf Club Resort on Monday 20 July.

Our Reading and Assessment Services, including Bendigo and Grampians will support the delivery of the of breast screening services provided through the RIA MSS, ensuring women have access to high-quality screening.

The initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to improving healthcare access for rural and regional Victorians, where distance and service availability can often create barriers to preventative care.
