The clinic has been customised specially for BreastScreen Victoria, with the latest digital imaging technology. Berwick BreastScreen on Clyde Rd will continue to operate, giving the women of Casey two local options for breast screening.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Risk increases with age, and 75 per cent of women diagnosed with breast cancer are aged over 50. Thanks to earlier detection and better treatments, more women are winning their battle against breast cancer – the five year survival rate is now 91 per cent.

A breast screen once every two years is the best way of monitoring any changes in your breast tissue. During your breast screen, female staff are with you every step of the way—it takes just 10 minutes and is free.

Casey BreastScreen is located at Casey Hospital, 62-70 Kangan Drive, Berwick 3806.

There are some works taking place at the Hospital so until the main reception is completed, you will need to enter the hospital via the Allied Health Entrance. Follow the corridor to the end, turn right and head towards Diagnostic Imaging. Go to reception where you will see a BreastScreen sign.
