Women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds screen for breast cancer less often than the general population. At BreastScreen Victoria, we are committed to reducing barriers to screening.
We want to make sure there are no barriers between you and getting a breast screen. To help the widest range of eligible Victorians, we provide culturally appropriate services that are accessible to people from diverse backgrounds.
You can book an appointment through an interpreter by calling 13 14 50 and asking to be connected to BreastScreen Victoria.
If you ask when booking the appointment, we can also arrange for an interpreter to be available for the appointment.
We can organise for group bookings so that you can travel together and provide support to each other.
We can organise familiarisation visits as well.
