    About Us

    BreastScreen Victoria is a population screening program for breast cancer. At each of our 45 Screening Services, eight Reading and Assessment Services, two mobile screening vans and the BreastScreen Coordination Unit - clients are at the heart of the work we do to reduce the impact of breast cancer and save lives through early detection. 

    Together, our people play a crucial role in making sure clients receive a high-quality service and feel supported at every step - from hearing about our service, to making a booking, getting a screen, and then right through to assessment.

    About the role

    In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of an advisory and consultancy service to our team of 110 employees and leaders on all aspects of Human Resources (HR) and Employee Relations, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D,E & I), and Learning and Development (L & D) areas. 

     You will work closely with the Executive team in developing and implementing business improvement strategies and programs with our Screening Service Providers and Assessment Services to support the success our state-wide program.

     You will be responsible for a leading small team consisting of a People & Culture Coordinator, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist and a Learning and Development Specialist who work together to continually improve our employee’s experience.

      

    About You

    You will have a demonstrated skills in supporting leaders to build a professional and motivated workforce that is committed to the organisational values and policies, and who are equipped to meet the current and future demands required as the organisation develops.

     This may mean you have previously delivered a program of work resulting from an organisation or HR strategic plan, or demonstrated ability to achieve clear outcomes from action plans or other considered programs of work.

     

    Above all, you will have a quiet confidence and appropriate EQ to approach conversations with team members and stakeholders in a respectful and clear manner.
