Ambassadors & Consumer Representatives
Our ambassadors promote the importance of screening in the community.
We know that people are influenced by a range of factors to book a breast screen including the recommendation of a GP. For many, it is the experiences of others that encourage them to make an appointment.
By sharing their experiences with others in their community, ambassadors help us to ensure all eligible Victorian aged 50–74 attend a free breast screen every two years.

Consumer representatives support us by providing their perspective in decision-making, service planning and improvement. They complete interviews and surveys, participate in focus groups and workshops, and more.
Being a consumer representative can give you the opportunity to represent the diverse needs and views of women across Victoria and help us make the client's voice our guide for everything we do.
