BreastScreen Victoria operates according to the overarching policies and procedures developed and endorsed at a national level as part of the National Accreditation Standards, the national policies of the BreastScreen Australia Program and the National Information Statements.

BreastScreen Victoria recognises that strong strategic and policy development processes are critical elements of good governance.  The BreastScreen Victoria Policy Framework defines BreastScreen Victoria’s approach to policy development and provides an outline for the design, approval, implementation, monitoring and review of policies.
